AI Alleyway ("we", "us") publishes editorial reviews and curated picks of AI tools. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and how you can ask us to delete or export it.
What we collect
We collect personal data only when you give it to us:
- Email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter. We add you to our list immediately on submit and send one digest per week. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link; we honor unsubscribes the same day.
- Contact form / inbox messages — if you email us at any of the addresses on the contact page, we keep the message and your reply address for as long as we need to handle it and then archive it.
What we don't collect
- We don't use third-party advertising trackers or social-pixel tracking.
- We don't sell or rent personal data. We never have.
- We don't track you across the web for retargeting.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate, privacy- preserving traffic data (page views, referrers, country). Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not fingerprint individual visitors. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Cookies
We set one local-storage value per browser, theme, to remember
your dark/light preference. We don't set any cross-site or marketing cookies.
Affiliate links
Outgoing links to affiliate partners may set cookies on their domains once you click through. Those cookies are governed by the partner's own privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for which links are affiliate links.
How we store data
Newsletter subscriptions are stored with Resend (US-based). Email correspondence is stored on Google Workspace. Both providers are bound by their own published privacy commitments and SOC 2 / GDPR controls.
Your rights
If you live in the EU, UK, California, or any other jurisdiction with a data-protection law, you can request:
- Access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Export of your data in a portable format.

Changes to this policy
We'll note material changes in the Updated date at the top of this page. Substantive changes (new data uses, new sub-processors) will also be announced in the next newsletter.
